Social Suicide

Sometimes I find myself embarrassed to say I like a particular band or a particular song. Like the time you were on a first date in college and Journey came on the radio. You would change the station quickly and state, "Who wants to listen to that?!" But, deep inside, you really wanted to crank the song up as high as it would go and sing at the top of your lungs. When you finally did the latter, that was the person you ended up staying with and ultimately marrying. Anyways, I like this song. I'll admit it. From American Idol's Phillip Phillips....... I saw The Lumineers this summer. They opened up for Old Crow Medicine Show, and they were really good. Now, their music is in every commercial that comes on television it seems. I constantly hear, "how lame...these guys totally sold out" or "if I hear that song one more time, I'm going to kill myself." Obviously, I have some friends that are melodramatic. Anyways, I like these guys and I like their music. And, maybe, just maybe, because many of you don't have cable, this may be something new.....probably not.
