This Morning

So, I heard some bands this morning that I thought I would share. Sleigh Bells...these guys opened up for LCD Soundsystem on their latest tour.

Tapes n' Tapes:

Cut Copy....love this guy's dance moves:

Nothing New

I haven't heard much new stuff lately, but I thought I would throw some artists up that some of you may not know. Here's a song from the Silversun Pickups that I think is pretty groovy. Does anyone think the lead singer sounds like a girl until he starts screaming? Okay.....what else? How about this song from the movie "Crazy Heart"? I must say that I thought the movie was a disappointment after all that I heard about it.

Brendon introduced me to these guys last year, and Nick and I have grown quite fond of them.

Monsters of Folk, a collaboration among Yim Yames (seriously?), Mike Mogis, Conor Oberst and M. Ward:

Here's the Roots version:

And, even though I know everyone knows these guys, this has become my favorite song off the new Gorillaz album....

Seth and May

Grant introduced me to these guys. Here are some clips that he sent. I put all of them since we've had few posts lately. Enjoy
