Oh boy, is LCD Soundsystem a good band. They make mature dance music, I guess you could class it as IDM. Sounds of Silver, their last album, was really fantastic and made you want to move your ass to a lot of songs about what it means to get older and have your relationships with friends and lovers change. It makes you sweat in a whole number of different ways.

I also want to take this moment to bask in the glory that is the fact that I got tickets to Sunday of Pitchfork Music Fest so that I can go see Pavement (forget basking, I'm just bragging). I know Nick and Alycia didn't like the festival so much last year because of something called "sound quality," but that is mostly because they are 30 some odd year old babies. Also, Pavement is a fucking game changer. Sure, this is the age or reunion tours, but this is the first time I'll ever get a chance to see a band that I was so disappointed in the prospect of never seeing play music that it hurt.
