So, as many of you know, I'm a big fan of Bruce Springsteen. I must admit that I have not always been a fan. All I knew of Bruce Springsteen before 2001 were the songs that I heard overplayed on the radio in the 80s...Born in the USA comes to mind. Then, Nick entered my life and changed the way I saw him and his music. My brother played a fairly large role in my conversion as well. I discovered yesterday through some YouTube searches that he had been given one of the Kennedy Center Honors last month. I did not know this....maybe because I don't have cable....who knows. So here, again, are two of my favorite political commentators. If you're not already a fan of the Boss, maybe Jon Stewart can do for you what Nick did for me.
And a wonderful cover by Eddie Vedder....For those of you that may not know, Bruce Springsteen released an album after the September 11 attacks called "The Rising". This song is from that album.
