Nick and I traveled to Ohio for the New Year, and we listened to a Cat Stevens album that I had not heard in a long time. I'm a huge fan of Cat Stevens, and my love for his music came about after viewing the movie Harold and Maude for the first time. Maude is truly brilliant, and the soundtrack cannot be beat.
One of the things that attracted me to Nick when we first met was his mention of how much he loved this movie. Many people think it is weird, and I loved that he loved it as much as I do. So, I'll finish this post with one of my all-time favorite songs with amazing lyrics featured in this amazing movie. This song is an anthem to anyone that has left the comfort of home, friends, and family, searching for something else and you're now a better person for it.
